December 6, 201312 yr I've created several databases in FM12 and consistently find that when I define borders on a field they only display on the record currently selected. I've also noticed that they do not appear when using the field in a report which also has the borders defined. I thought that I'd seen some of my previous FM12 databases show this border specification on all records . . perhaps I was looking at an FM11 database. Is there a trigger that I can set in the inspector to change this so that all records will display the border formats?
December 6, 201312 yr Have you tried using the change Appearance Tab to do this? If not, read up not than take a look at it here In addition, there is a great series videos showing how the tools in 12 can be used. IIRC, what you are asking is covered in this one. FileMaker 12 Layout Design Surface - 12 Days of FileMaker 12 Automatic message This topic has been moved from "Conditional Formatting" to "Layouts". BTW, this has nothing to do with Conditional Formatting. Also, you are going to love v13 in this regard when you upgrade. Edited December 6, 201312 yr by Lee Smith added the Auto Message
