Letter Spacing

I must be overlooking this horribly, but how do I adjust the space between each letter in a field? In graphic design terms this would be called kerning or letter-spacing.

You have only the option to format the text style as Condense or Extend.

Another possible way is to use a repeating field with each rep containing a single char.
