"Not responing" message

Featured Replies

I'm using FMP11 v2 on a Windows 7 x64 laptop.  When I print, I get a "Not responding" message and FMP stops working.  I must turn FMP off using Task Master.  I tried upgrading to v3 or v4 but I can't get the update to work.  I've reloaded my printer driver.  I'm stumped... any ideas?

what kind of message do you get when you try to update?

Hi Wim,

At the top of the window, next to the file name, it shows (Not responding).  I need to use Task Manager to quit FMP.  What a bummer.  It just started doing this.

I was referring to this part of your post.  When you try to upgrade, it should just work.  If not, what errors do you get.  Either directly from the installer or from the Windows application event log or system event log.
