Is there any way to launch a kiosk mode video from FM Go?

 

I have a customer who has iPads in his shop for the public to search product information ( it's a very simple catalog). When the iPad is idle he wants a promotional video to start automatically and close when someone touches the screen again.

You could include the video in a container field.

Use window timer script to go to a layout with the movie and start it.

You could overlay an invisible button over the layout, so when someone press the screen, you go to the layout with the product information.

Thanks for the answer. I've tried your suggestion but Start Playback Automatically in container field doesn't work on FM Go. Therefore I've tried the same with the web viewer and a hosted video and it works fine.
