When i was using Filemaker web companion and cdml tags embedded html format files i was validating the form inputs with javascript. But now in xsl format files how can do validating? Please help with an example....

I have created a file contain 2 tables, one relationship and anoe portal. I hav tested it as local and at internet. there is not a problem. I wonder, is the problem your OS??? Sorry....

You can do this with 2 technics: related field and lookup. i created sample file at fm7. you can use it at fm6, It doesn't make any difference. ı have attached it my post. lookup.zip

If you did not check "show vertical scroll bar" option for the current portal, the scroll bar does not appear. because i cerated a file and tested, it is running well. How many files did you use in filemaker 6 application? When you convert all files to filemaker 7 relational files will be created as fike references. Because when defined any relationship or used value list from another file Fileaker pro 7 must create references to those files. Please do not delete any file references.......

You must run first Filemaker Server. Because Filemaker Server is set to run manually Then you can connect. Please open Filemaker Server Console, and on the left menu you must click "Services (Local)" and ar the rigt menu you must find filemaker server and run it. If you use filemaker server advanced, you must run it manually.

There is not a script as you say. But if you want the users to enter a new field or fields you can make a script and use "Open define database" script step.
