Insert from Device (Barometer)?

Anyone know if other features may be included in the Insert from Device script step in future releases of FMP and supported by FMGo so that other sensors could be interrogated, for example the barometer on iPhone 6/7/6+/7+?

For now though, is there perhaps an ingenious workaround to access this data?

I don't know of any apps that let you access barometer data from a URL scheme. FileMaker has a Product Ideas section of their own forum where they take feature requests.
