360Works is proud to announce the release of FTPeek 3! 360Works FTPeek is a FileMaker plugin that allows you to upload, download, and manipulate remote files on an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server from within your FileMaker solution.

FTPeek supports a variety of file transfer protocols, such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS.

The biggest feature in FTPeek 3 is the new FileMaker and Dropbox integration capability. Dropbox is a popular, cloud-based content storage platform that keeps all of your files in one place with an intuitive interface.

If you have users working in both Dropbox and FileMaker, you can now seamlessly integrate the two, allowing users to access and manage Dropbox files from within FileMaker!

FTPeek 3 features a new shareable link feature for Amazon Web Services S3 as well.

New Features

  • Major new feature: now supports file manipulation with Dropbox accounts
  • OAuth workflow: plugin functions have been added for use with connecting to Dropbox
  • For Dropbox login, a browser URL is provided for first-time login after which, new FTPeek functions will manage access and refresh tokens
  • Implemented sharable download link feature for S3

Purchasing and Upgrading

Existing FTPeek users can now upgrade to major version 3 at the FTPeek page (button provided below), navigate to 'Buy or Upgrade Now', from there you can view the upgrade cost underneath your license type, and proceed to checkout by entering your existing license key information. FTPeek is not a product with maintenance, so you can upgrade even if you are running a version that was not purchased in the past 12 months.

As always, FTPeek 3 is free to try in a fully functioning demo mode which can be obtained at the FTPeek store page. While in demo mode, the product will run for 2 hours every time you launch FileMaker (or FileMaker Server, for server deployment).
