How to capture "double click" event?

Featured Replies

I have my container field in a portal all displaying the correct images or PDF, as required by the User, but it would make sense if I could save them having to

1. Right Click  2. Export File   3. Save File   4. Open it in another Application

They need to do this whenever the stored image is too small to see, so all these clicks just to see an enlarged image seem a waste of their time

I want to Capture when the User has double clicked on the container field that has the image they want to see and just open it in WIndows default Picture editor program - they use Paint.net

I can use a SEND EVENT to open the default program e.g. but adding it to a button with a script, that works - just the double click event I cant capture or emulate.

Doesnt appear to be a way to capture the double click with Filemaker.  ScriptTrigger does not work as Get(ScriptName) when entering object: the parameter get(Scriptname) is not passed

Any help/pointer appreciated.
