vasilek Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Does anyone know who to overcome interference of Lasso with JavaScripts's Array brackets '[]'? Example from JavaScript code: 'Manufs[Count]=tempString;'. Lasso thinks that 'No tag, type or constant was defined under the name "Count"'.
Anatoli Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Look into http://www.listsearch.com/LassoTalk.lasso?id=112884 HTH
vasilek Posted June 5, 2003 Author Posted June 5, 2003 Thanks I've looked. It does help in Lasso 6 with new [NoProcess] tag, but how to overcome this in older verisons where there is no such tag?
Anatoli Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Lasso 6 is so much better than all versions before, that I would upgrade just for this one tag
vasilek Posted June 10, 2003 Author Posted June 10, 2003 That's what I think too. I like the new control panel a lot. So much easier to configure everything. But Lasso guys at our hosting provider say cause it's new it's not stable yet. And we should wait until Lasso 6 will mature. What do you think?
Anatoli Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 On what platform is "not stable yet" and what version? Lasso is now at version 6.0.4. Talk to John May from http://www.pointinspace.com He is hosting on Macs. I was using Lasso on Windows 2000 and it didn't crash once during 5 months of my programming. In version 6.0.1 it stopped once or twice, but recover in no time.
