Philip Sommers Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 I recently rewrote my batch file used to backup our FM Server 5. We used to just copy the hosted files without stopping and restarting the FM Server service. The new batch file stops the service, copies the files, then restarts the service. Then it occurred to me that I have a new problem: Automatically re-opening the files in Unlimited 6 once the FM Server restarts. It occurred to me that I might be able to use a daemon and run Unlimited as a service. How does everyone else get around this? Thanks in advance.
Anatoli Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 FM server => 5 has nice own backup without stopping serving databases. Why do you stop FM service??? You do not have to start Unlimited 6 HTH
