Did you know that the Web Server Connector is NOT compatable with Mac OS X Server 1.2 (the current shipping version)!

It requires OS X Server 1.0 - 2.

Anyone know where they still sell that?

I used to think the same until this morning. If you rigidly follow the instructions about a manual install in the config.txt file, it will work.

I'm running OSXS 1.2 on a G4/450 with developer package installed.

No, I haven't. But I played with a demo of Tenon Intersystems' iTools, which implements SSL. It seemed to work well. But it's expensive.

This is a little off the subject, but How much Ram are you running in your G4 to support both Apache & Web Server Connector ?

Is it fast?

The G4 I talked about has 256 Megs of RAM. The system is very responsive and quick. But there has never been any significant traffic so far. We use the box mainliy as a NetBoot server.
