new to this Posted September 12, 2003 Posted September 12, 2003 I have a few databases and CDML pages out there - currently using FileMaker Pro 6. I am now finding the user limit to be an issue, so I am going to go to FileMaker Pro Unlimited...is there anything I should be aware of as far as going from FM Pro 6 to the FM Pro unlimited? Would I be housing the pages and databases in the same way - or are there some differences is the set up?
Kurt Knippel Posted September 12, 2003 Posted September 12, 2003 The ONLY difference is that it allows an unlimited number of connections via IP.
new to this Posted September 12, 2003 Author Posted September 12, 2003 that is exactly what I was hoping for! I assume there is no upgrade from 6 to unlimited....it will require getting the full version of unlimited right?!
Steve T. Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003 P.S. It's probably not significant to your needs, but they bundle WEB SERVER CONNECTOR with Unlimited, too. We don't use it at all, but before you shelf it and forget about altogether, it's worth reading about in case it comes in handy someday. --ST
