hey wats rong with this

go to layout ["view all"]

enter find mode [restore]

set field ["_ispaid";""Paid""]

preform find [restore,replace found set]

go to layout [refresh window, "view all"]

y wont it show me just the records that are paid?

Un-check the "restore find requests" options in the Enter Find Mode and Perform Find steps.

Hi Orbit,

Try:

set field ["_ispaid";=] to find blank text fields and unclick 'Restore' in both places as Vaughan and Michael suggested.

When you define the set field try double clicking the field from the list. Sounds as if you are typing it but not typing it correctly.

What can happen though is that you're picking some related field instead.

Also, what is the format of this ******* _IsPaid field ?

I was listening to a song I wrote called "This guy is annoying"

I was refering to the set field script step. To me it sounds like he is getting this error when he is setting up the step(not when he is defining the field). I guess my post was a little misleading.

Hopefully he will get it soon.

No orbit like I said in the pm I sent you, I do not have MSN or AIM. I did not go thru your file completely but if your _ispaid field is empty. The script will now find it.
