YuChieh Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 We are using MS FrontPage as the web programming tool. I am wondering if I can connect FileMaker Pro with FrontPage. In other words, if I can call up FileMaker Pro db from FrontPage and use the data to create the dynamic sites. Currently, I set up my local machine as a mini web server. I have WinXP, installed IIS 5, installed FileMaker WSC6. I am new to both FrontPage and FileMaker. couldn't seem to connect them together. Also, I saw from the FileMaker6 book that I could use http://localhost/FMPro?Config to get into WSC Admin site. Instead, I got a file download window everytime. Any insights on these setup to have them work, FileMaker WSC, FrontPage, and IIS? Thanks
Newbies cfw Posted October 11, 2004 Newbies Posted October 11, 2004 You need Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server, IIS5 and WSC5. WSC5/6 won't work on XP Pro or Win Server 2003. Use the combination above, it worked for me. Good luck!
