I require a statement for invoices showing how many per month with totals. I'm sure this can be done but how? Look forward to any replies and thanks in advance for any help. BFGK
June 12, 200718 yr Hi BFGK and Welcome to the forums. If I am understanding what you are looking for, you could use a subsummary report to achieve what you are looking for. try doing a search for +summary report or +subsummary and you will find tonds of examples on here.
June 14, 200718 yr Author Hello John I've got the summary working and understand what i need to do. However, my invoice date inserted is in the format 23 Jan 2007. I've inserted a MONTH field in table but cannot seem to format as month name only i.e. Jan Any ideas. Can i auto format the MONTH field from the invoice date field? BFGK

June 14, 200718 yr Author Thanks that works But when i create a report to summarise by Month it doesn't work. It is sorted alphabetically but it's definately in the format i require except date sorted. Any ideas regards BFGK
