In your multitude of posts over the last day or so I have great difficulty in understanding what you require.

You seem to assume that a few cryptic words (or even fewer in this post because the question is stated in the attached file - with less than helpful field and table names) explains your situation.

Please try to explain (in all your posts) clearly what the particular problem is you are trying to solve or what you have tried to achieve it.

This will help other members of these forums when reading posts to learn from the answers offered and clear problem explanation, and be able to adapt the remedies given to similar problems they may have in future.

Lynda or VTC or even consider FileMaker Training Series if reading is your thing you may be interested in Database Modeling its not particular to FileMaker but provide the general information you need to know about fundamental database principles.

when i was verbal no one understood when m giving .fp7 now wants verbal ok i understood what to give. i bought vtc beginner,intermediate and advanced lynda.com videos 1yrs back i know what is filemaker few functions they dont get into my brain after reading help file my brain is not built for logic still m trying to but some script steps are tough to understand thats why being verbal i thought it would be better if i give.fp7 so that ppl can understand what i need

In the custom dialog, you have entered everything as literal text. You need to understand the difference between literal text and a reference to data stored in a field.

It should probably be...

"ocean west=" & table::ocean westi & "¶" &

"stephen=" & table::stephen & "¶" & ...

This example solves the problem of the dialog display, but explains nothing about what you want to do.
