Sandy Lynn Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I have a database that uses the Webdings font in a text field, the letter "g" in Webdings is a square that fills the field and gives the impression of the time elapsed on a job. Now I want to view this on my iPad and the font is not available so I get a field that looks like this: ggggggggggggggg Has anyone found a solution or different approach to accomplish this? Thanks for any help. Sandy
Newbies paul_howard Posted August 28, 2013 Newbies Posted August 28, 2013 Arial contains a "Full Block" character ( █ ) and is supported on both iPhone and iPad. On Windows, type Alt+2588; on a Mac, drag it out of the Character Viewer or follow these instructions: http://gigaom.com/2011/04/26/quick-tip-type-unicode-characters-quickly/.
Sandy Lynn Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 Paul, Many thanks this worked exceptionally well. Sandy
