FM Pro 13 bug? Radio button & check-box targets unusable at small font sizes.

Featured Replies

2014-06-19 UPDATE --

I made a new blank file in FMP 13, created a sample radio-button field at 9 point and it works fine / normally.  I then copy-pasted the field to my current solution in FMP13 & used the style-clone tool. Despite not seeing any differences in attributes in the Inspector pallette, it fixed the problem.

---Original post & question ----

I need to use radio button and check box value lists at small font sizes -- 9 points, in some cases even 8 points.

At these sizes, FMP 13 Advanced is using a *single pixel* in the center of the selected target to indicate that it is "checked".

This is crazy & unusable, yet I need to keep these buttons & checkboxes at a small font size.

Is this a known bug in FMP 13? (Yes, I'm using the latest service release, 13.0v3)

Any solutions or work-arounds? I was hoping for maybe a per-field conditional TextStyleAdd which would BOLD *just* the selected item(s) but I don't think this is going to work.

From the top of my head:

You can draw them. Put image of blank checkbox over the image of check-ed one.

Set a button on them, for example: set field "Passageway" - "Rough".

And the last one use this field to hide the upper image, see attached file.

Hope this works or at least helps you to find the path that'll suit you better.
