Hi,

Sorry I am new here so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong topic.

I have a client who is trying to access the Sas pro database remotely. He is using File maker pro 5.5

He gets an error message:

The instruction at "0x01927096" referenced memory at "0x001d5000". the memory could not be read.

Click OK to terminate the program.

Click on cancel to debug the program

Any help would be appreciated please

Thank you

Prashant

FileMaker Pro 5.5 is more 10 years old, ancient in computer years so I doubt that you'll find much support for it anymore.  Chances is it is running on an OS that it was never designed for alongside other software that may or may not affect it.

Having said that: any plugins in use?

Hi Wim,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm sure of the plugin. It's a new client. Everyone else seems to be ok when they access remotely. It's just an issue with this one user. And my luck he is the owner lol.

My apologies he is on Win 7.

I'll still try and get as much info as possible.

Thank you

Prashant

Frequently these issues came from printer drivers.  Make sure to run FMP in XP compatibility mode.

But really: they should upgrade to a more recent version of FM...
