With one exception: On two different machines, randomly, but always around midnight, FMS will crash in a very weird way. I'm running FMS 18.0.4.428 - All networking on the MacOS instance will work just normally - However, all FMS functions will suddenly be completely unavailable. That includes FMP connections; XML and API connections; webdirect connection - even the admin website is unavailable. - I can't even restart it from the command line- fmsadmin start or stop server only yields 'Error: 10502 (Host unreachable). The only thing that fixes it, temporarily, is a hard reboot. With FMS 15 and even FMS12 running very reliably, in some instances for years, this is very unacceptable. Has anybody run into similar issues? What can I check to investigate further? MonkeybreadSoftware Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Please look in /Library/Logs/DiagnosticalReports folder for FileMaker things. Zip them and post a download link here. The crash logs may show what the problem is.
