Comment Cards DB? Very simple

Im trying to replace a really bad Access DB with a nice and clean dual platform FM DB, but unfortunately i have experience in neither.

It is incredibly simple. Five fields, with either Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, or NA. Thats it. All i need in the report is the number of each Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, NA per the five fields.

I have the form working with the fields, i just can not figure out how to make the report show the total of each rating for the fields.

If i could See how calculations are done of words i might be able to figure it out, as ive figured everything else out so far just by disecting the examples.

Im literally out in the middle of the ocean (cruise ship) with no access to books to learn, and looking through example DBs i cant seem to figure it out on my own.
