I am having issues with cross-platform container field use. I would like to store only a reference to files in container fields, and we have both Mac and Windows folks connected. Some people seem to have indicated that there is a script or something which you can put in the container field (?) and both Mac and Windows folks will be able to access the document in the container field. Does anybody have this script?

I'm super-new to all this, so any pointers are welcomed!

FileMaker user QuickTime so the Windows machines need to have this software installed. It's a free install from Apple.

The only other issue is getting the file paths correct. This depends on how the shared volume is mounted in Windows.
