MightyData, a Platinum Member of the FileMaker Business Alliance, has been providing custom database and web solutions to our customers for 15 years. We are a virtual company (everyone works remotely) and want our team members to have a life outside of a 40-hour week. This opening is for a junior developer on our software team. Our primary technologies are FileMaker and PHP/MySQL. We are also expanding into SaaS and PaaS platforms. You will be expected to pass the FileMaker Certified Developer Exam during your first 90 days. Experience with database software is helpful but not required. What is required is a desire and ability to learn quickly and contribute to our team.

A typical day at MightyData could include studying the FileMaker Training Series to pass the certification exam, researching an issue and reporting your findings to another team member, assisting a senior developer with development of specific project, contributing to internal discussions about marketing or new products and services, and interacting closely with our Dean of Success (project manager) to deliver excellence to our customers. In short, you will be given plenty of opportunity to learn and grow as a member of our team.

The salary for this position is $45K-55K depending on your experience and skill set.
