Unable to attach

I've seen several posts reporting they cannot attach a file - and neither can I. After selecting a file and clicking 'Attach This File', there comes an error message saying "Error No file was selected for upload".

I have no idea whats is the problem there, I ve been trying several times to provide  examples in my discussions, no result

this has been fixed - server settings were too restrictive.
