Script for Pulling Records based off Find?

We've already tried that.

 

Tussing can't get the real files. So Tussing has posted basically empty files, with minimal data and no scripts at all. Then he (?) posts scripts as PDFs. Tussing has been asked to post a FileMaker file that has scripts in it. (Message 32) That seems like a very clear request. But Tussing doesn't seem to understand the request. Tussing won't provide a name.

 

Tussing writes about a file that contains a script that has a problem. But Tussing won't provide a file that contains a script that illustrates the problem.

 

We don't know why. Maybe Tussing doesn't know how to write scripts. But then - where do the script PDFs come from? It's all quite a mystery.

To be brutally clear: a script in text or PDF that exists outside a file has no meaning. There is no way to diagnose a script outside the context of the file. And yes, new to FileMaker or not, I do think you're wasting people's time. Just do what they ask and you'll find plenty of help.

Ouch! That trail of forum posts was brutal, but the worst part is that there is no ending. I hope Tussing515 figures out how to download the hosted file using the Admin console, can open the file, save as a clone, then populate the necessary tables with a facsimile of dummy data. Hell, I want to see the end of this drama!

Then again, maybe he's using a separation model, in which all hope may be lost…
