Exporting 13 records, but getting 13*13 blank extra records?

Any idea.. why

 

I open my layout..  it has 13 records

I am doing a Export but getting 13 blank records in between the 13 exported records.. ending up with 13*13 +13 records?

 

I am exporting several other at the same... each works .. all code is the same but the individual difference]

 

Any idea...

 

Any repeating fields?  Are you including related fields in the export?

opened that file... i don't see any. repetive field..  usually looking down structure...a repeating file be [2]  bracketed right

 

 

my original file has 13 records

When I export... my exported file... picked up a link somehow to another file... wih all these others  fields.. weird

 

 

I have tried to attach my 9,700 Kb    fmp12 file...  but by itself didn't take... so I zipped it////

WHY is that?   another question.. some people ask why I zip a file..   thats why??

 

 

Anyways my file attached.. its the MEssages file... has 13 records.. Export gives me 140+ records and seeems to mix my Config file  has 13 records too

interesting///   I opened up my app.. started deleting records not needed esp this Message file..

. I have 2 default records left after all my accounts, clients msgs are gone..  

 

Now I tried to export....   I got the 2 defa records..  hoping it fixed things///

 

Something got linked?

Ok.. I added back my accounts and clients   took a few messages///

 

   Try the export script again...  Same prob

 

Weird... when I said i could export.. I did so manually..

 

When i tried my script    its only this file....  3 records turned into 500+ most all blank with some repetitive data in those blanks...   attached this simple script    

Open layout

show all

Export to a file named, 

the others are the same... comparing.. only with this on Message file

Still the case that your file cannot be tested.

Doesn't seem to be happening.

the reason for this is because you have related FIELDS in your export order - you may try to save as excel instead.
