What's the best recommended Calendar implementation?

So....

 

Is there a definitive list anywhere of calendar implimentations & 3rd party options?

 

1. It would be great to have a listing of them, so one can make an intelligent decision.

2. It would also be great to have some comparisons by "knowledgeable" individuals regarding their options.

 

 

I'm looking for something to inject into a solution, which allows me to easily add in project dates (from other tables), have it create deadlines (say a set of preferred alerts at X days prior to), and have the ability to tie into iCal or some other such integrated platform...

I've had good success with the Seedcode Calendar Pro product from www.seedcode.com.  ( There's also a free, completely unlocked version with fewer features that may meet your needs.)
