This is a curiosity question, not really any problem. I have several FM13 tables that I'm sending to my iPad via email. Several of them begin to immediately download when I open the email. Others I have to 'tap' the attachement in the email to initiate the download process. Is there some aspect within the FM table that affects this behavior. Again, not a problem, but if I can determine how to get all my tables to 'auto' download that would be best.

That's just how iOS handles it. The Mail app doesn't download larger attachments until you tap them in case it can save you any data transfer usage if it turns out you don't want the attachment. You can try to make your FileMaker files smaller, but that may not get you far enough, depending on the complexity of your files.
