Pls excuse since I'm asking this question

 

Still I'm using FM Server 5.5 and FM Pro 6

 

I've hoted my all the files hosted on a FM 5.5 server

 

Some of files I've enables "WEB COMPANINON" AND " REMOTE DATA ACCESS " ENABLED

 

So , If I've an VPN connection setup to access my databasese remotely how can I do

 

After connecting to VPN when I open FM client and go to "Specify Host" gave Server IP,

But doesnt show ant files

 

Pls advise

Does it work from inside the network (not via VPN)?

 

If it does and it does not through VPN: does your VPN server give you an IP address on the same subnet as your FM Server?

 

 

(and make sure that the FMS machine has a fixed internal IP address, not DHCP).
