January 20, 20187 yr I just upgraded server from FM 15 Server to FM16 Server. CloudMail plugin (ver 2.04) was reinstalled, but mail is now not being sent (or at least not received). I did not change the scripts or file, it was just a server upgrade. In fact the scripts appears to run and act like it is working (no error and I can confirm it is connecting to AWS), but emails just don't show up. I know it is older version, but is Ver 2.04 compatible with FM 16 Server? Really at a lose of what else to check.... any ideas? Edited January 20, 20187 yr by Wim
January 22, 20187 yr Hi Wim, Try restarting the CloudMail EC2 instance. To do so, go to the EC2 section in your AWS account and look for the instance called 360Works_CloudMail. Right-Click the instance and go to Instance State->Reboot. Once the machine reboots try sending emails again.
January 22, 20187 yr Author That worked!! Thanks. Just curious, but why did the EC2 instance for Cloudmail have to be rebooted? Was it related to the upgrade (what was on a totally different server) or just coincidental that it stopped working and need to be rebooted?
January 22, 20187 yr It was more than likely coincidence. I have seen this issue before without any updates being performed.
