filemake business tracker

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am studying filemaker business tracker.

Nice program !!

I found something strange that I can not explain.

On the layout settings you have a portal for modules.

Although the vertical scroll bar is marked on, it does not appear.

Can someone explain this ?

FileMaker Version: 7

Platform: Windows XP

Are you looking at the first version released for FM7 or version 1.1 released about a week or two ago? Looking I can't find what you are talking about. What is the name of the layout that you are looking at?

FileMaker Version: Dev 7

Platform: Mac OS X Panther

If I understand correctly, you are wondering why the vertical scroll bar does not appear to be working on most of the layouts. If you notice, there are only a few records present in the file. Until the number of records exceeds the number of rows displayed in the portal, the scroll bar is not active. For example, if the portal is set to display five records but only two records exist, the scroll bar does not become active. If there are more than five records in that portal, then the scroll bar works.

Hope that answers your question.

Mike
