Is it possible to move a field (or better, a group of fields) from one table to another in the same file without just deleting them and recreating them in the other table?

(I thought I had posted this last night, but it's never showed up, so I must have done something wrong. Sorry if it is a dup. post; if so, tell me where it went!)
