Will FileMaker work across international borders ?

I want to be three copies of FileMaker Pro 7 for a small business. The software costs a lot more in Europe than the U.S.

I need to know that if I purchase in the U.S. can I legitimately install and register the software in Ireland.

If I buy online from the U.K. each copy will cost me $435.44. If I order from the Irish Apple Store it costs $498.19 per copy. I can buy online in the U.S. for as little as $220.00 per copy.

If anybody can offer any advice I would appreciate it.
