I just recently purchased FileMaker and is awesome! Now, being a newbie, I haven't found a way to do the following:

I created a db with text fields. In one of them, called "software" I'm using a value list. I chose the field format checkbox set and "include 'other...' item to allow entry of other values".

This works great, but no I can't find a way to make this to print the extra information I add in "other".

Welcome to the Forums. When you go to your print layout (and if you don't have a separate print layout, you should create one) you should format the "software" field as a normal text field. Then it will show all of its values as text, including the "other" stuff.
