Filemaker 7 grabbing infomation from Telnet?

Anyone know of a way to connect with TCPIP/Telnet with Filemaker 7? I need this to talk to a software that tells the distance from one place to another (kinda like a map quest(but its software Ive bought that uses tcpip))

Unfortunatly this software does not use odbc frown.gif Just TCPIP

Not sure I exactly understand but maybe your telnet program could dump results to a text file and then use a script to import into FileMaker.

hmm ill look into it.. I think its going to be a hard job smile.gif was just trying to find out if theres a simple way of doing it insted of writing to a file, running a file, deleteing the file then importing into filemaker.
