Solution Problem

Featured Replies

I have a bound solution that works fine using Developer 5.5 and installing via Inno Setup. I converted the files to fp7 and bound the solution in Developer 7. It runs fine when launched from the folder where it was bound. However, when I compile it with Inno the installation doesn't launch. Same same with WinZip and Winrar. I get a spinning cursor for about 3 seconds and then nothing. I notice the USR files after binding still say Filemaker 5.5. What am I missing?

Thanks!

Tom, Just a thought....

go into your windows explorer file definitions and relate the USR extension with Filemaker Dev 7 instead of Filemaker Dev. 5.5.

If you're are infact using windows. try going to windows explorer, then tools, folder options, file types, select the USR extension there and associate it with FMDev7.

I've done that and the files all show the fp7 icon as opposed to the 5.5. Unfortunately I still get the problem - bind the solution and it runs fine in its original bound folder. Create an install using either Inno Setup, WinZip or WinRar and it copies all the files to the designated folder but the application fails to launch when you double click the icon.
