Steven Cappiello Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 In a Filemaker 7 database that has several layouts, how could you script a "back" button that would bring you to previously viewed layouts (and perhaps??? found sets :?) If anyone has any idea of how this is done - even at the very simple level -- i'm very curious to find out whatever I can. I tried searching for previous articles about this and didn't find anything.
Vaughan Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 You put the layout names (or IDs) into a global field, then get them out again in reverse order.
Steven Cappiello Posted August 16, 2004 Author Posted August 16, 2004 I think I understand, but could someone elaborate a little tiny bit ? or does anyone have an example of this in action that I might be able to take a peek at ? I don't know how to approach building it. thanks
