Is Text in Container Field (Word Doc) Searchable?

I want to store Word documents in container fields for each record to maintain the format and styles of the document, but I want to be able to search the text of those documents as if it were a regular text field. Is this possible?

No. The contents are stored in binary (1s and 0s) not ASCII.

Maybe paste the text of the document into a text field to enable searching?
