Hello all,

Just posting a solution that took me a very LONG time to find so I thought I would share it with you and hopefully save you A LOT of frustration.

If you plan on using Filemaker Server advanced with ODBC be warned that when copying the xDBC plugin over to the appropriate folder on a windows 2000 server, the files are READ ONLY. Don't forget to change this, otherwise the port 2399 will not open on your server and connections will not be possible. Furthemore, neither filemaker nor windows will give you any error.
