Creating groups in FileMaker Pro v.7.0

Hi,

Can we create groups in FM 7.0? If so, how do we create them in v7.0?

A group is nothing more than a bunch of people that share the same privilege set... so in that respect you don't need groups, you just test for the privilege set name (it's a GET function).

If you use External Authentication then the account name is really the group name that is returned by Active Directory or Open Directory.
