Can Pro 7 for PC connect to Pro 6 Mac server

I installed Pro 7 on a PC, but when I try to connect to Pro 6 Mac server (we currently used), it always cause the server no response. No body else can connect to FileMaker server. What is the problem? Can FileMaker Pro PC work with FileMaker Pro Mac? And how to do it?

PCs and Macs will work together no problem.... but v6 cannot communicate with v7 in either direction. You pretty much have to pick one or the other. (Unless you use ODBC or XML or something like that to exchange your data)
