I have a multi-user license of Filemaker Pro 7. Is it possible to run 2 copies of it on the same mac ?

Can I just make a copy of the Filemaker Pro folder and name the folder FMPro-2 ? Surprisingly, I tried copying the FMPro folder from my desktop to my laptop, and the program runs fine on the laptop.

The reason I want to do this is that I want to have one copy of FMpro running a script once every few minutes .. but I want a person to be able to use another copy of FMpro on that machine.

I tried using fast user switching to have two users run the same copy of FMPro, but the script interfered with the user and vice versa.

I called Filemaker and found out that this is possible.. you need a multi user license, and all you need to do is make a copy of the application folder.
