Newbies Maji Posted February 9, 2005 Newbies Posted February 9, 2005 Hello, I just found this forum and it looks like there is a huge amount of talented people here. As a newbie I am having trouble getting a pulldown list to be in alphabetical order. I made a list of all the inventory I use at my company. Those lists are fine. When I go an area where I create my invoices and select the pulldown menu that has all my 300+ items I sell, they are in a scrambled order. What do you suggest that I do to get them in the order? andygaunt Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 One method is to include a second field that is a number field. In your value list you can display values from a second field and sort based on either the first or second field. Another option is to include the number at the beginning of your field and in 7 you could do an automatic replace to remove the number when an item is selected. HTH
