creating invoice number change

I'm a newbie to Filemaker Pro and any input would be nice, i tried searching the forums for similar topics so forgive me if this topic has already been covered. I wanted to see how i could create an invoice number that after each new record it would increase the number by one. Thanks!

Use auto-enter serial number under options in define fields.
