I screwed up big time while trying to set 'guest' privileges for a file. I am now in a layout with no privileges whatsoever. I cannot access any scripts or file commands that would let me change to another account or change privileges. I cannot 'see' scripts from other files. Any way out?

Have you tried holding down the option key while opening the file? You will then be prompted for a password, and you can enter your [Full Access] account and password.
