Is there any way to restrict the entry in a field to that fields text format? I have people cutting and pasting from multiple sources and no matter how many times i point out the "option-control-v" method they forget.

You can set an auto-entered calc for the data entry fields you're having trouble with to:

Evaluate( Quote ( Field ) )

Uncheck the Do not replace existing value option.
