It seems unlikely he would be able to stop this Forum addiction voluntarily. Which leaves me to wonder, "What has happened to Queue?" I hope he hasn't fallen down a well or something.

I miss JT also. He's probably just very busy and excited - working on some new wonderful FM solution! We need his input however. He could fine-tune calcs like no body's business.

I guess I needs must put this rumor to rest. Alas, I have no alter egos or secret identities on the forums, most especially NOT Transpower. I wouldn't say that I'm not a masochist, but I really don't have the time to engage in flaming or arguing with myself, at least not anymore.

If I were to take responsibility for an alternate identity, I think I would have to choose Comment, Jerry, or Vaughan (at least as Vaughan, I would have the most posts ) I would claim Ugo, but I don't think there's any way I could convince others of that.

I know of others who do have multiple identities, for their own reasons, and no, I won't divulge who they are...

I'm not ill, at least not seriously at the moment. I've just been spending too much time working, if you can believe that. I'm converting 5 years of PHP scripts to be compliant with newer versions, while I'm also making them as consistent as is possible. It's a very arduous process, but the upside is that I'm becoming quite adept with VI. My fingers are almost moving more quickly than my brain.

I'm sure I'll be back eventually. But I don't even want to think about how many thousands of posts I'll have to catch up on. In the meantime, I'm certain Comment can fill in for me, and I'll have lots of notes to take from his examples when I get back.

Well, glad you're okay, Queue. Though I'm not sure becoming adept at VI is a good thing.

I would consider a dual-identity but since my style is a fusion of dumb questions and similiar answers I think my cover would be blown immediately. How belittling would it be to ask a question as 'UberSolution' only for people to reply 'OK Inky, here's how you go about it.........'

If my memory isn't too hazy, it seems like the "regulars" became "infrequents" about a year ago....... and then came back en masse when version 7 hit-the-streets.

Well, I know I disappeared for a few months too, partly because I was swamped with work that was actually paying real money, but mainly because I hadn't got onto the FM7 bandwagon yet and there didn't seem to be much more to say about FM5/6. Lee will kill me for this last remark I know.

There were a couple of questions about the Older versions while you were earning money.

Your being gone didn't stop me from referring the posters to some of your great posts, and solutions.

Don't you think that the word "Kill" is a little harsh? Why would I kill off one of my favorite mentors?
