Spent the entire weekend moving my db over to FMPRO 7. The db is about 1.8 GB. When I go to back it up, by saving as "Database Copy", it takes like 40 minutes. Moreover, I can't see how far along it is because FMPRO has changed the scroll bar thing that used to show you the approximate percentage done to the diagonal bar thing.

Any suggestions -

"Save a Copy As" was always a little slow, in any version

"Save a Copy As" also removes unused space, which is time consuming (and save as compacted (smaller) removes even more)

It's often easier to quit FileMaker, amd drag a copy to your backup folder
