Today for some reason I can not fathom, when I go to use the Show Window, the wrong file opens. We have a small network and the issue occures on all machines, including the server. I've tried repairing the permissions, trashing the preference file and double checking the reference files.

Any suggestions?

Just a couple ideas:

Is there a copy of the file somewhere on the network other than on the server?

Do you have two different files with the same name?

Hmmm, the Show Window menu selection would only show you the files that are already open but hidden.

You said that the problem also happens on the server. Are you using FM Server or is there one machine acting as a host and everyone is peer to peer?

I am running FMP 7 (not server) on a host computer and we are connecting via open remote.
