ash00182 Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 i had a problem with my data base keep refreshing looping whatever you like to call it, i then dicovered that there was somekind of bug relating to having my ipod mini plugged in to my p.c at the same time. solution un plug the ipod but now at random times this affliction has started again does anyone else suffer from this or has cured it i'd be glad to no its not only me
Søren Dyhr Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Perhaps your database from migration have a too cluttered filereference set, and you ipod is turned in HD mode as well?? My guess - your database tries to make you locate missing items on it's behalf when opening?? --sd
Razumovsky Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 If it is still happening, sounds like the iPod was a red herring. 'refreshing/looping' are two different things and the process for troubleshooting would be different for each. Is it stuck in a script step, or is a calculation updating? Does it happen after you push a button, go to a layout, enter data....? We really need a lot more detail to be helpful. -Raz
ash00182 Posted July 20, 2006 Author Posted July 20, 2006 sorry ive been awhile replying this seems to happen when entering new data and very occasionally when in find mode
